What a marvellous day to get active at Brighouse as Asda Active teamed up with the Brighouse Charity Gala, at Wellholme Park for a great afternoon out.

Not only did we see a plaque unveiled by the Fields In Trust under the watchful eye of the newly-crowned Queen of Brighouse, Emilie Large, but Yorkshire and England cricketer, Anthony McGrath came along to give some Kwik Cricket tips.

Voting has now closed Congratulations to the Huddersfield RUFC who topped the poll.

A cheque for £300 was presented to club representatives by Asda Community Life Champions who also did the honours to runners-up Huddersfield Riding School for the Disabled, Huddersfield Otters Water Polo Club and the ladies from the Old Cask Inn darts team.
