Thanks to everyone who turned up for the event at Orangefield Park and despite the showers, there was a good turnout with lots of sports to do. The event organiser had put up a couple of marquee so once the rain set in, there was still a bit of activity to do including martial arts and cheerleading.
The CLC from Asda Dundonald was also there to co-unveil a Fields in Trust plaque with the Lord Mayor of Belfast, the Rt. Honourable Gavin Robinson – who is just 27 years of age.
Also as part of Asda’s commitment to bring new sports to the Asda Active Zone, an activity called ‘Ultimate’ was on display which is cross between basketball and American Football and uses a frisbee instead of a ball.
